This is a great unit for an 11x11 room. At 12000 btu the ac can provide effective cooling in a room size of 550 square feet. The unit is super quiet for this size product but it does not cool the room very well. I suppose if you ve only ever had central air it might take getting used to but for those who ve grown up with window ac this unit is a dream.
